Cincinnati, Ohio – May 4, 2013 – Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD) organized their 9th annual Team Run, Walk & Roll for the 2013 Flying Pig Marathon. TPA sponsored LADD’s team and participated in the 5k event on Saturday morning of marathon weekend.

Flying Pig Weekend has continued to shed light on the important services that are provided by nonprofit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area. TPA’s Brenda Baker says, “LADD is unique in that its programs are based upon participants learning through and engaging with the community. From group homes, apartment living and even a program to assist those seeking homeownership, LADD’s ability to educate these individuals and give them the skills they need for a more independent life is such a valuable resource for our city.”

For 35 years, LADD has provided education for over 20,000 adults in Hamilton County with disabilities and helps them learn the skills needed to increase their independence in housing, relationship building, employment and residential services.
